This site provides general information about available services offered by Jacqueline Peters, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and general mental health education via blog posts. It does not establish a therapist-client relationship with the User and should not be taken as psychological, medical, or legal advice by the User. All content on this website — including blog posts, articles, social media, or newsletters — is for general informational and educational purposes only.

LEGAL DISCLAIMER REGARDING PSYCHOTHERAPY SERVICES

Psychotherapy services provided through Jacqueline Peters Psychotherapy Professional Corporation are delivered by Jacqueline Peters. Jacqueline Peters is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), regulated by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). All psychotherapy services are offered in accordance with the CRPO’s standards of practice and ethical guidelines.

Psychotherapy is not a substitute for medical advice or psychiatric care and does not include diagnosis or medication management. In accordance with CRPO standards, Jacqueline may provide referrals to other health professionals to discuss health concerns which fall outside the scope of psychotherapy.

PRIVACY AND CONFIDENTIALITY

Client privacy is a top priority. All psychotherapy services comply with the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA) and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) Code of Ethics. Personal information will never be shared without consent, except where required by law (e.g., risk of harm, legal subpoena, mandatory reporting obligations).
